From community partnerships to disaster response and education, the first quarter of 2026 reflects Boldr’s continued commitment to creating meaningful impact.
Celebrating Our Ongoing Partnership with Streetlight Philippines
Boldr has officially launched a dedicated partnership page for Streetlight Philippines, highlighting a relationship that has been at the heart of our impact work since 2017.
The new page shares the story behind our long-term partnership with Streetlight, an organization supporting children and families in Tacloban, home to one of Boldr’s offices and many of our team members. It showcases the meaningful work being done on the ground and how Boldr continues to support this mission through monthly donations tied to every team member we hire, allowing our impact to grow alongside our company.
More than a milestone, the page reflects what makes this partnership truly special: it is not a one-time initiative, but an ongoing commitment rooted in presence, dignity, and community.
Earlier this year, Boldr executives also visited the Streetlight compound in January for a community visit, further strengthening the connection between our teams and the communities we support.

Bridging the Digital Gap for Persons Deprived of Liberty

On February 19, Boldr Tacloban donated 10 desktop computers to the Tacloban City Jail Male and Female Dorms to support Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). This initiative, spearheaded by Anton Niño Raquel, aims to expand access to technology and create opportunities for learning, connection, and personal development within the facility.
The donated devices will be used for e-dalaw (virtual visitations), allowing PDLs to stay connected with their families, as well as for alternative learning and livelihood programs and basic computer literacy training. By enabling access to these resources, the initiative helps equip individuals with essential skills that can support their reintegration and future opportunities.
Through this effort, Boldr continues to champion inclusive impact by supporting underserved communities and promoting access to education and digital tools where they are needed most.
Emergency Relief Support for Iligan City

On February 20, Boldr extended emergency support to communities in Iligan City following the devastation caused by Typhoon Basyang. In response to a call for help from one of our team members, Boldr provided PHP 20,000 in relief assistance to Ecoweb, a local NGO leading on-the-ground recovery efforts.
The donation helped deliver food, clean drinking water, and essential supplies to communities severely affected by flooding. In total, the initiative reached over 4,000 households across five barangays, supporting families as they began to recover from the disaster.
Through this effort, Boldr stands in solidarity with our team members, demonstrating how timely, community-driven action can provide critical support during times of crisis.
Financial Literacy Workshop for AMV Scholars

Since Boldr’s founding in 2017, we have consistently supported the scholars of A Million Voices (AMV) Philippines. Many of these scholars began their journey in elementary school and are now in college, with some having recently graduated. As they transition into adulthood, Boldr continues to support their growth by equipping them with real-world, professional life skills through curated workshops led by Boldr team members.
As part of this commitment, Boldr launched the Boldr-AMV Workshop Series, designed to prepare scholars for life beyond school. The first session, held in July 2025, focused on resume writing and interview skills, helping participants build a strong foundation for their early careers.
On February 28, Boldr delivered the second installment of the series, a Finance Basics for Gen Z workshop for AMV scholars. Led by Financial Advisor Prej Prestosa, the session titled “Future Rich 101” covered essential topics such as savings, debt management, and investments.
To reinforce these concepts, scholars participated in a hands-on budgeting exercise, mapping out both their current expenses and their ideal spending once they land their first job. This practical approach helped bridge the gap between theory and real-life financial decision-making.
One scholar shared:
“What you taught us as young professionals is a big help for me and for all of us. These lessons are very important because they guide us on how and where to use our money wisely. In today’s time, when life is becoming more difficult, it is important for us to learn how to manage and spend our money properly. We will definitely apply and practice these lessons in our daily lives. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.”
Through initiatives like this, Boldr remains committed to supporting scholars beyond education, empowering them with the tools and confidence they need to navigate adulthood successfully.
Empowering Future-Ready Learners Through the Rise Up Initiative

Last February 20, Boldr joined the closing program of the Rise Up initiative led by the Philippine Business for Education.
Through the Rise Up program, over 400 students enhanced their education-for-work skills, preparing them for future career opportunities. In parallel, around 50 teachers were empowered to integrate innovation into their classrooms by building their own prompt libraries using Generative AI, with guidance from Eskwelabs.
Boldr was proud to actively contribute to this initiative. Marijo Endriga from the Impact Team served as a panelist in the “Future of Education” discussion, sharing insights on bridging learning and employability. Meanwhile, Rosano de la Torre, our Learning and Development Specialist, led an engaging Essential BPO Skills workshop for 80 students at the University of Makati, equipping them with practical tools to thrive in the industry.
Through partnerships like Rise Up, Boldr continues to support initiatives that advance education, employability, and inclusive growth, helping learners and educators adapt to an evolving future of work.
