Global: Boldr Joins A Living Wage Dialogue In Partnership With Unilever

On February 25, 2025, Boldr took part in the "Wages That Work: A Living Wage Dialogue for Employees, Employers, and the Economy" held in Taguig City, co-organized by Unilever Philippines and Eco-Business. Representing Boldr at the event were Glo Guevarra, Senior Manager of Global Impact, and Marijo Endriga, Community Impact Supervisor.

The dialogue brought together key stakeholders, including the International Labour Organization (ILO), labor coalitions, private companies, and civil society organizations to explore how living wages benefit workers, businesses, and the economy. Unilever’s study showed that paying a living wage can lead to 6.6% higher productivity, 21.3% lower turnover, and up to ₱11.9B in GDP gains.

Resources shared at the event, such as the Living Wage Playbook, FAQs, and open-access data from the WageIndicator Foundation, will support Boldr’s continued efforts to educate, implement, and evolve its living wage strategy across its supply chain and partner networks.

Boldr’s participation reflects our continued commitment to decent work and economic equity. As a 100% Living Wage employer, we are proud to contribute to this growing movement for fair pay and inclusive growth

Global: Boldranians Stepping Up with an Impact Wellness Challenge

To celebrate Boldr’s 8th Year Anniversary, the Impact Team launched “Boldr 8 Wellness Challenge: Step Up for Impact,” encouraging team members to take 8,000 steps per day for 8 consecutive days. With every 800 steps matched by a $1 donation, this fun and health-focused initiative also became a meaningful way to give back.

The challenge raised a total of $4,485 across all offices:

  • $440 for North America, benefiting Indspire, a Canadian organization supporting Indigenous education.
  • $600 for Mexico, which will fund tutoring for four students in Mérida through Educate Yucatán.
  • $2,500 for Manila, currently finalizing partnership with AHA Learning Center’s DOT.C Labs program that would empower 100 students with digital and foundational literacy skills.
  • $397 for Tacloban and $548 for South Africa, with beneficiary organizations currently being finalized.

The challenge not only promoted physical wellness across Boldr’s global team members but will also make a tangible difference in the lives of students and underserved communities. Through movement and purpose, Boldr continues to champion impact one step at a time.
